EDUCATION AND TRAINING
José Luis Fernández Fernández holds a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD), a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) and, among other qualifications, a Diploma in ICADE's Independent Advisors Programme and in the Managing Ethics in Organizations Programme (Bentley University Whaltham, Massachusetts). He is an Ordinary Professor at the Faculty of Economics (ICADE) and has been in charge of the –now- Iberdrola Chair of Economic and Business Ethics since 2003. He was president of EBEN Spain between 1993 and 2007.
Between 2000 and 2003, he was Vice-rector of International Relations and University Extension at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. He is a Fellow of the Caux Round Table and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Ethics and Social Responsibility -CTN 165 SC2- of the Spanish Association for Standardization (UNE). He has written several books and multiple articles.
